Dicesar on Brallian Big Brother

In a dear BLGT letter, from a  Brazilian citizen, by the name of  Thais, age 23—has called out to the lone internet for help regarding a TV reality show called, “Brazilian Big Brother.” At the moment, three people are deemed to be voted off. A lesbian (Angelica), a Transgendered person (Dicesar) and a straight man (Dourado), who this letter states is a homophobe, and have witnessed  him threatening to break a few fingers and send her to the hospital.

The reason we are so concerned right now – and which led me to give it a shot and write to all of you – is because the lesbian girl, the drag queen and the homophobe have been nominated today to face the public voting. The elimination is going to happen on Tuesday and we have almost no chance to win. Like I said, the TV Channel, Globo, has been favoring the homophobe, and right now 70% of the public is voting to protect him.

Which brings us to the reason why I’m here, asking you to, please, help us. It doesn’t matter how. It may be voting, asking people to vote or whatever comes to your minds. I know that this situation doesn’t affect you directly, but it would be a real big step for us. We’re facing a crucial time for gays in Brazil, and Tuesday’s elimination is kind of symbolic for us.

If you would like to help vote this person off, or get involved, you can go to these Websites and make a different via a global world of brothers and sisters of the cause! The show’s official website is http://bbb.globo.com/.

This link contains the video showing his anger and threat towards Angélica: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xcb4yx_n .

You can go to bagel fish and try to read the language in Portuguese. The video does not, but I’m sure you can see the body language on the video!
